Around 6-12 months (depending if they can get the food they need to grow) they are big enough little hawks aren’t a problem just the big wedges or sea eagles depending where you are you’d need to keep an eye on themTouchwood it seems they aren’t worth the dramas haven’t had any larger birds taken only youngsters
Mine go out into grow out pens around 4weeks They aren’t put with older chickens till they are grown round 4-6months. But I only breed Plymouth rocks and my rooster is well over 5kgs
Round two are ready to go round three no longer need heat either and round four are 1 week old
I’ve got chicks ready to go not requiring heat, anyone who ordered please check your messages
Thanks, ideally looking for bantams.
Hi Jaq,
Are the chicks standard or bantam size?
Thanks,
Redlynch. I do everything I can to protect my girls.

When will they be available? As in, able to fend for themselves in a flock of 12 varied varieties?
Can you sex them?
